Wildlife Survey 2021

Wildlife Survey 2021

This summer, the Park was part of a wildlife survey undertaken by ecologists from the Merseyside Environmental Advisory Service. They reported favourably, commenting on the number of locally and nationally important species present on site, including the common lizard and slow worm, and on our strong focus on the conservation of important species and habitats on site.

They were also impressed by our Warden Paul. “Paul was very helpful and conveyed a great knowledge and passion for the site. He is a great asset to the Key Park. The conservation work (habitat management/ specific species focused) currently being undertaken by your team is really encouraging and we were impressed when we visited. Keep it up!”
